Ella Rae had a great last week of school before Christmas Break!
On Tuesday, her class had their Christmas party. We had a yummy lunch, I read the Christmas story while using our Little People Nativity to try and keep their attention, and we had a Christmas book exchange with all her friends and Alden too!
On Wednesday, she had her FIRST Christmas program at school. Papa, Nana, Ms. Teresa, Ginny, Alden and Daddy (and me) were all there to watch our little star! She did great – no tears and she absolutely loved being on stage (no surprise there!). The children entered the sanctuary ringing jingle bells and then quickly found their place on stage. I loved the look on Ella Rae’s face when she saw all of us there in the second row (thanks to Kelly – Noah’s mommy!) They sang “Jingle Bells” and then recited their scripture verse for the month – Luke 1:31 And you will have a son. His name will be Jesus. Then they sang, “Mary Had a Baby Boy” to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb and ended the program with "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." Nana made Ella Rae a posy of flowers to hold for her special day and she loved them!
Thursday was PJ day, so she wore her special Christmas PJs, brought a blankie to snuggle and then watched a movie with her class. She’s a lucky girl!
