I thought once I became a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) I would be super productive - cooking delicious meals all the time, making scrapbooks for my kiddos, keeping my house in tip-top shape - HA! Instead, it seems as though every time I start to be "productive" my name is being called and it's mommy to the rescue! The other day I hear Ella Rae yelling, " Mommy I'm stuck - help!" I run into the family room to find her stuck in the media cabinet. I have a rubber band around the knobs bc Alden likes to get in there and mess with the electronics. I had to run for my camera! Then moments later I hear a loud sound from the family room and run in there to find Alden had pulled the metal cover off the fireplace (didn't break it) - again I had to get a picture!
These kids certainly keep me on my toes and I love it! When I was in corporate america my day was determined by my level of productivity. Thank goodness that's not the case in my job as a SAHM!

I can totally relate Anne! Just today I had someone ask how I'm liking staying at home and what I do all day (they obviously don't have kids!). I actually could really think of anything of value to tell them! Chase Hudson around? Does that count?
