Happy Birthday Jesus! What a beautiful birthday and Christmas day! We had our first White Christmas here in Georgia since 1882! Christmas morning began bright and early around 6:45am with Ella Rae running into our room yelling, "Mommy, Daddy...Santa came...Alden got a train table and I got one like Ginny's!" Brad and I sat up and quickly realized that the little stinker had gone downstairs without us to check out presents. We laughed and jumped to our feet to get started! We had a great morning! We spent 3 hours just having coffee and opening presents. These kids are so blessed that we didn't even finish opening gifts till the day after Christmas. We headed to Grandma's house in Marietta for lunch and then home for a quiet night together!
Ella Rae asked Santa for a nursery like her friend Ginny and was so excited to see that Santa did not disappoint. She loved her Cinderella and Prince Charming Barbies, Doll Bed, TinkerBell DVD, Adora Baby Doll and beautiful clothes from Mimi, games, Fur Real Pet Kitty from Aunt Nena and Uncle Steve, Dress Up Doll from Papa and Nana, puzzles and games from PawPaw and JoJo, Princess Beauty Set from Zachary and Will, First Make-up bag filled with goodies from Ian and Ginny, Baby Polar Bear from Aunt Megan….just to name a few.
Alden asked Santa for a train table and again he delivered – although we’re still wondering how he got that thing down the chimney (see I can go along with this!) He loved his Little People Stand n Play Rampway, CARS DVD from Aunt Nena and Uncle Steve, Thomas trains, game and puzzles from PawPaw and JoJo, 3 Little Pigs Toy from Papa and Nana, Medical Kit from Ian and Ginny, Thomas Bedtime toy from Aunt Megan, and a ride-on John Deer Tractor from Mimi!
Both kids LOVE their little backpacks (Tinkerbell and Toy Story)! We filled them with little toys for on-the-go!
Again - we are SO blessed! Thank you God for our family and all that you provide and supply!
I almost forgot about Mommy and Daddy - we got a new house in Oct, beautiful new Viking appliances, and some pampering items for me and cologne for Brad. My mom got us a Kindle which I am loving!! I promised her I would share with Brad! ;)
