Little Brother???

Our sweet babies are growing up! Ella Rae (2) and Alden (6mo) had their well visit a couple of weeks ago. Daddy came along because both kiddos were receiving shots and/or giving blood, so I needed help. They did great! Ella Rae didn't even cry when her finger was poked but then later showed us what she can do with those lungs when Dr. H had to look in her ears. As you can see below Alden's head is larger than Ella Rae's and there's only a 5 lb difference in weight between them. They have been wearing the same size diaper for about 1 month now. I don't know how much longer he'll be the little brother??? Praise God for 2 beautiful, healthy children. We are so very thankful and blessed!

Alden is already in a big boy carseat...which makes shopping trips very interesting now, but that carrier was getting to heavy! He seems to like it much better! Mimi sent Ella Rae some pretty flowers for her birthday and she loved to smell them. Dr. Ella Rae Hames made her appearance at school for Praise Town...it was community helper day. She was Chief of Surgery! Swimming lessons are going pretty good...we still have some tears but she's remembering things from the summer pretty quickly. She has a great time "resting on her back" in the bathtub! And Ella Rae's new favorite snack is Sun-Maid apricots - she can eat an entire bag in one sitting. She loves to help daddy vaccuum with her toy vaccuum (which really works)! Alden is still so laid back and has been enjoying some yummy new fruits and winter squash. He's starting to tripod some and rolls tummy to back and back to tummy. He's becoming more vocal and he and Ella Rae will scream back and forth with each other...it's actually really cute.
