Ella Rae’s Birthday Bonanza Part 2

This is the day which the Lord has made;

Chattanooga is a beautiful city filled with so much to do. We drove up on Friday night so we could begin early Saturday morning. After breakfast we surprised you with a “Princess Party!” We decorated the hotel room, opened presents, and of course had some yummy cake (many thanks to Ms. Kerri). You loved your new camera from mommy and daddy – and carried it around all weekend taking pictures!! We spent the entire day at the Aquarium which is situated on the riverfront and beautiful. The butterfly exhibit was really pretty. It was perfect staying downtown - we walked (you kids strolled) everywhere. Alden was the perfect little brother all weekend and you wanted him with you all the time. After dinner we went on a carriage ride through downtown, it was WONDERFUL. You were so still and just sat there between me and daddy looking all around. That night we went for a quick swim at the hotel’s inside pool. You loved it and did not want to leave! My little swimmer! On Sunday we headed to the riverfront and playground to enjoy the beautiful weather. After lunch we visited the Children’s Museum - you played and played! On the way home we stopped at Lookout Mountain to ride the Incline Railway – the view from the top was gorgeous. We had a very special weekend – mommy and daddy will always remember your 2nd birthday in Chattanooga!!
