We opened presents and played with toys for a bit and then headed to church. After church we joined the McNeely family for lunch at their house and it was delicious and of course a lot of fun to be with everyone there. Once home we somehow managed to get kids down for naps - not fun but necessary. After they woke up we played with Christmas toys the rest of the day!
Oh yea - and one of the first things the kids did that morning was run outside to check on the cookies that we left for Santa. Yep - we had to put the cookies out on the front porch for Santa...per Ella Rae she would rather he leave the presents out there instead of coming in her house....hmmm....ok....I guess we can do that! We also sprinkled a few carrots out on the sidewalk for the reindeer to enjoy. The kids loved checking the cookies and carrots on Christmas morning. So cute!
What a beautiful and amazing Christmas! Happy Birthday Jesus!
