On September 10th Ella Rae started soccer for the fall season - #42! We decided to try I-9 sports particularly due to it's laid back reputation. Practice and games are on the same day - Saturday mornings at 9am! We play Maranatha Academy. It's a vert relaxed atmosphere and the kids are really enjoying themselves. It's a wonderful opportunity for Ella Rae to learn about teamwork and commitment. She loves it! She's easily the tiniest one on the team and doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body, but we keep encouraging her and she's having fun - that's what matters!

Ella Rae's little buddy, Sutton, actually plays on her team too, that was a nice surprise! She follows him around on the field, sometimes without even knowing where the ball is - oh well, and Sutton will often help Ella Rae along by placing his hand on her back to guide her along. It's so sweet!
Brad and Sutton's daddy, Todd, coach the team. Someone had too...neither know a thing about soccer, but are learning as they go and doing a great job! We're actually 4-0!! They do this precious little "Go Sharks" chant before the game, putting their hands on their heads like shark fins. It's so cute!
Alden enjoys playing with his toys on the sidelines while we're out there and never really tries to run on the field - I'm truly shocked by this but he seems to get it.
