Yep…baby number 3 is due Feb 3, 2012! On May 27th I woke up and very quickly saw the ++ I was looking for – yahoo! On May 31st I ran to the OB and got great news…your HCG levels look awesome and we even got our first glimpse of the babies future home….I begged my doc for a peek in there at only 4 weeks – he rocks!
Trying to keep it hush-hush was very hard for me…we finally saw and heard our little ones heartbeat on June 24th and shared the news! I was feeling fine till about Week 6/7 and then yuck….nausea! By Week 9 – I was feeling much better BUT hello Belly?!? Really Week 9? Are there 2 babies in there (I really did wonder…twins run in my family and Brad had a dream)? Dr. H said, “Well, what did you expect when you have 3 babies so close together!” After that appointment we had our traditional “breakfast-after-ultrasound” at Panera Bread! It’s just up from the OB and we LOVE that place…oh those bagels melt in my mouth!
Pulling out the maternity clothes this time has not been fun….did I really wear some of this stuff? I’m now 11 weeks and feeling much better – just tired….story of every mom’s life though….so whatever. On July 22nd I go for my next check-up; can’t wait to hear that little heartbeat again!
Oh and NO….we’re not finding out! We found out with the other 2 munchkins, so we have bedding and clothes for both. We’re excited – however let it be known that this is well beyond my comfort zone! I’m a planner and waiting to prepare a nursery and potentially moving kids rooms around till after this baby is here…freaks me out a little, but I can do it! Brad is very determined, so much so that in our 8-week ultrasound he was quick to tell the tech, “Do you need to flag her chart or something…we DO NOT want to know what the baby is?” I thought, "Oh my…it still looks like a tadpole and he’s already telling them."
