Spring Break in South Carolina!

For Spring Break, I wanted to getaway and do something fun with the kiddos so we headed to South Carolina to see my friend, Leigh, and her daughter Mary Folger. We visited the zoo, the children’s museum, and had such a fun time. I was a bit concerned about traveling for 3 hours in the car alone with the 2 munchkins, but they were incredible…thank you God.  The Riverbanks Zoo is fantastic! It’s the perfect size and had a lot of hands on activities for the kids; they fed the giraffe some lettuce and gave nectar to some little birds, rode the train and carousel and even played on a playground. They were beat! The next day we went to EdVenture – The South’s Largest Children’s Museum and it was a huge hit. They have a pretend grocery, fire truck, tractor, art and music area, outdoor water table and playground and so much more. A fun time was definitely had by all! It was great for me and Leigh to hang out at night after the kids went to bed. She got me hooked on Extreme Couponing and some other crazy show! Thanks Leigh for having us! We miss you!

Fun with Play-Doh! (and yes, Alden is having a taste!)

So beautiful to watch them drink!

"I don't know Alden, should we slide?"

Sleepy girls with their Hot Pink snakes!

I love potatoes!

Learning about fire safety!

Finally a place where the kids can draw on the walls.

Sweet boy!

Loves to make circles!

We had such a great time!!
