Every summer we try to make a trip to the beach somewhere and so this year we headed to Wild Dunes in Isle of Palms, SC. We rented a house with The McNeely and Bowling Families and had a great time. My kids were a bit out of sorts at times – we rely heavily on our daily routine (naps, snacks etc) and while on vacation it’s tough to maintain that schedule. We enjoyed dinners out, karaoke night, outdoor movie night, trip to Charleston to enjoy the Children’s Museum and a carriage ride. We of course spent a lot of time at the pool and beach too! No sleeping in for us – our kids were up bright and early each day – next year we’ll bring the nanny…HA! Most important we enjoyed time together as a family and with our friends and made many lasting memories!

| Alden was so funny with this bucket - he would walk all the way to the ocean and back to fill a small hole he had made - only he spilled most of it walking back. Sweet boy! |
